The VSP MINI vibration welding machine is used to weld components made of thermoplastic materials, particularly acetate in the eyewear industry. In many cases, the production of acetate glasses involves assembling parts that determine their shape and color.
Sirius Electric expands its range of vibration welders with the introduction of the new VSP MINI, a machine designed for small-scale productions or sample creation. This technology completely eliminates the need for solvents in bonding parts, providing a cleaner and more environmentally friendly process. Furthermore, the assembled piece is immediately ready for the next milling stage, ensuring efficiency and production speed.
The vibration head movement of the VSP MINI is circular, achieved using a Brushless motor and a pneumatic system controlled by a proportional valve. This movement operates on high-precision prismatic guides, ensuring reliability and optimal performance even in the most complex applications.
One of the most important features of this welding machine is the cycle control system, which is fully managed by a microprocessor with a Touch Screen keyboard. An innovative and versatile programming system allows the welding cycle to be configured either by time or by position. In the latter case, the welding position is controlled by an optical scale with centesimal resolution. For each phase of the cycle—descent, welding, and compression—different thrust pressures can be programmed. The microprocessor allows storage of up to 10 welding programs.
